Painting in Port Perry, Ontario, Canada. Temperature is about freezing -20 degrees Celsius, 30 degrees F.
In April, I eagerly expect the weather in Morocco should be warm enough for our Plein Air Morocco workshop so I should not have to wear what I have on in this photo. [Read more about the May 2015 Plein Air Morocco outing >>>>]
After an hour and a half of painting, the wind picked up, the temperature dipped lower. The enemy made his presence felt and won. Our painting party, with Karen Fox and Harvey Walker, disbanded, retreating to lunch and warmth. Still, it was an enjoyable and worthwhile 2 hours of painting a beautiful Victorian home with a hockey rink in the side yard.
I later added kids playing hockey … the rink was begging for players.
