My Morocco Art Residency – Impressions and Memories, by Carleigh Boyd
Carleigh Boyd, Artist in Residence at Green Olive Arts from summer 2013, has created a video of her “impressions and memories” from her residency. Enjoy, Morocco from Carleigh’s perspective!!
“Everywhere we go, everyone we meet, leaves an impression. We remember who we’ve spoken with, the colors we’ve seen, the sounds we’ve heard, the way things made us feel. These impressions don’t leave us. Rather, we absorb them. They become part of who we are. During my residency with Green Olive Arts, Tetouan became a part of who I am. It has left its impression on me. This video is meant to share a bit of that impression so that, hopefully, Tetouan can leave its impression on you, too.”
