Tetouan Film Festival 2018
Every year since 1985, the Tetouan International Mediterranean Film Festival has drawn filmmakers, stars, producers and audiences from around the world for one week of film screenings, creative dialogue and coveted awards. This year, the 24th edition of the Tetouan Film Festival will take place during the week of March 24 – 31, 2018. Selected entries will include over 100 feature length and short films as well as documentaries produced by some of today’s most creative talents.
Filmmakers and producers are encouraged to submit entries that have been produced in 2017 and 2018 and whose subject and treatment reflect the art, culture and spirit of the Mediterranean region. More information and submission details can be found on the Tetouan Film Festival website. Submission deadline for the 2018 festival is January 31, 2018.
In the past these events have included special round tables for writers and novelists who are interested in seeing their work considered for film adaptation, as well as venues especially for young creatives and the general public to interact with filmmakers. We hope to see some of the Tetouan Film Festival during the one month curated residency Convergence 2018: texture of time at Green Olive Arts.
