These 6 artists – Niccy Pallant, Rabia Farooqui, Marthe Vary, Mark Lesser, Hafdis Helgadottir, and Tamadher Al Fahal – gathered in Tetouan from 6 different countries for 1 month to explore the traditional craftsmanship of Morocco and to create new work in response to all they experienced and learned. The Open Studios Night on April 1st was a great success, giving opportunity for the community of Tetouan to meet the artists (the artisans they had worked with), visit their studios, and see the work they’d created!
