Born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, Nasim felt moved to spend some time in the land of his father’s family.
While Nasim and his wife and daughter were here in Tetouan they spent some time at Green Olive Arts … and we are so glad they did! As it turns out, this professional social worker is finding that there is an unstoppable music growing in his German-Moroccan blood. So he has been writing songs in his own unique style with hopes of touring with his talent for singing … In German! I don’t know what the song is about, but I am moved by it’s beauty and wanted share it with you.
It didn’t take much urging to get him to play for us and with some help from local artist/guitarist Anwar, we managed to pull off a spontaneous recording session in the quiet garden of local favorite Riad Blanco. Thanks Nasim! We look forward to seeing and hearing more.
